Motocross the event!
Lannach 8.June 7:00 am
The alarm clock of our president is ringing. Punctually at 7:30 a.m. he sits in the car with his wife. Where should we go? Hungary. Why? To sharpen his motorcycle senses, he was given a beginner motocross course for his birthday. They set off on their own.
Change of location: Graz 7:00 A trailer with loaded Husqvarna is attached to the golf of the secretary (Hansi-Andi). Your mission? To assist the President on this difficult day. Of course he knows nothing about his luck.
Due to a perfectly timed break the surprise could be delayed until the last moment (Ok, we hid at the Spar parking lot). I can tell you that the surprise was a success, the man was absolutely unsuspecting.
On the Enduro-MX track in Nagycenk we had to pay the entrance fee -> 20€ for the whole day -> hard in order, there’s even electricity and sanitary facilities here.
Afterwards the course or the rental motorcycle and the equipment had to be paid -> 200€ is for the offered also still really in the frame.
To the great joy of all the little man got a KTM 250SX-F on which he found no E-Starter :). The Hansi-Andi gets a 250er 2 stroke beta, actually better than you think.
After a short introduction to the motorcycle and a little longer kick (with Choker starts badly) we started with a few laps on the “children’s track”. After about 45min on this and occasional whining (“my hands hurt already now”) I went on the big MX track. Here the correct sitting position, the mooring and smaller jumps were tried or perfected.
Afterwards even shorter ascents and descents were practiced with the instructor.
From 14 o’clock was finally free driving announced. All piles were driven on and also the ascents were almost no problem any more. Maybe there were one or two crashes, but who knows that so exactly ?. We also didn’t agree on the height of the ramps, so the subjective impressions differ a bit.
Unfortunately a person from our group had to finish the training already at 15:45, the dear fitness, there comes up almost a Deja-Vu from Marktl!
Hansi-Andi and Flolibob made the enduro forest unsafe afterwards, all gradients were overcome there (the MX beginner Hansi presented himself really well). Even the last really steep descent was well overcome with tips from the flolibob (“You just can’t shit at yourself”).
After the well-deserved final beer, it was decided to book an additional course this year due to the great fun, to which all bikers and gourmets will again be cordially invited. If you are interested, please register now with the president. It’s really a lot of fun :-)!
