Members of our friendly motorcycle club “MC Untouchables” joined us this year. The trip was again a full success.
On time at 0500 CET we started from the Shell gas station in Lannach and gathered our courageous comrades-in-arms together. At the resting place St. Pankraz the hungry crowd had their first meal. Breakfast was served on the spot, so to speak!
After that we went on to Marktl in Germany shortly after the German-Austrian border, where also a pope calls his birthplace. Quickly helmet, leather suit, gloves etc. were borrowed and the course could begin. Hans “Dampf” Eder presented, once again the theoretical knowledge perfectly and with a lot of love and humour. Then it was time for our first laps with the supermotos to begin. Naturally the first group couldn’t be stopped and almout without delay some drivers were again in the driver’s camp and were allowed to ring the “bell”. There were almost no injuries. The training was super funny again, as you can see from the photos in our photo gallery. Even if not everyone could drive until the end, sadly, the stamina is missing…
After the training sayed cheers with a beer on the exhausting but successful day – we really earned it. From the 19 participants 10 people turned off to Salzburg and had dinner there and later there was a round… Well that remains probably our secret… If you want to know more, just join us next year and you can experience everything live.
One thing I can promise you, it’s a lot of fun!!!

Gruppenfoto Sumo Marktl 2019

Our big, almost annual excursion to Marktl took place on 9 March again with great success.
